Formed in 2001, Madcap Theater is an outlet for the creative
energies of each of it's members. Drawing on unique and varied skills,
Madcap produces performances, summer camps and specialized workshops
in the Philadelphia area. The primary goal of Madcap Theater is
to entertain and educate audiences simultaneously. Members of Madcap
Theater visit various schools as a part of a cooperative theater
arts program enabling students to write, produce, and perform in
their own shows. Since 2001, members of Madcap Theater have organized
and coordinated summer theater programs and camps for children.

| Owen Timoney |
| Owen is instrumental
in developing the summer enrichment theater programas well as the
bulk of writing duties for most Madcap projects. Owen has written
and produced several shows including, "A Pirate Christmas",
"Gothic by Gaslight", "The Condensed American Revolution"
and the upcoming "The Big Scrapple". A graduate of De
Sales University, helped found Madcap Theater in 2001. Owen has
worked to produce shows in New York and Chicago and Philadelphia.

Elizabeth Burgoon:
Elizabeth has taught Irish dancing with
the Timoney Irish Dancers for twelve years, Annamarie’s Academy
of Dance for the past five years and has danced in performances
for over twenty-four years . Since the summer of 2001, Elizabeth
has worked collaboratively with Owen Timoney to develop a children’s
theater enrichment program. Elizabeth is currently an English teacher
in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She recently earned a Master’s
Degree in Secondary Education.

Shoshanna Hill:
Shoshanna has been working in film and
television for the last nine years and in theatre since the age
of two. She has co-written and produced her own set of short films
for the Philadelphia Fringe festival, as well as run camera for
several award winning independent films. When not editing or running
camera, she is also a full-time actor in the Philadelphia area,
and teaches in various after school Film and TV and acting programs.
Shoshanna believes that performance is an ideal way to build confidence
in any situation.
